Thank you so very much for visiting our website and for choosing to read a little more about us.  We are a small group of Christians who are working together to serve God in a manner that pleases Him.  We are sure that last line can be found on most religious websites. Before you decide that this website just like all the rest, give us a few moments more of your time. You see, we would really like "you" to be part of "us."

There are several things you can expect to see when you come to visit us: 

First, we believe you will find a welcoming group of people here. Like we said, we want "you" to be part of "us." So we are going to be as friendly as we can possibly be so that you will feel welcome and that you will feel like you want to come back.

Second, we believe you will find an imperfect group of people. It seems that many people believe that churches are filled with people who are hypocrites.  The idea seems to be that people go to church to try to show everybody how good they are...when they really aren't!  At Northside, we don't "go to church" because we "think we're perfect." We are there because we know we're still a work in progress. 

Third, we believe you will find a group of people who are trying to find what is pleasing to the Lord.  You may have noticed that everything in today's world seems to be self-oriented, or self-satisfying to the exclusion of everything and sometimes everyone else. Our goal is to please and glorify God in all that we do. The way we do that is simply by learning what God has told us pleases Him and applying it.  We have learned that the more we try to please Him  the more self-satisfaction we find.
